I studied
physics for some time, but after finding out i couldn't satisfy my
philosophical curiosity and creativity in the scientific world i
dropped out and went to art school. Graduating with paintings,
installations and music, i went on creating art and music as a
professional artist.
Most of my work is concept-based, and it's subjects often have a
strong connection with science and it's implications for human
existence.
Making art and
studying science are ways for us to cope with the chaos we find
ourselves in, living in this universe. Through science, we try to
structure our physical world, and attach meaning to the processes
we observe. Through art we try to structure our mental world, and
bring meaning to the experiences we have as human beings.
I continually
find myself lost in the chaos, and i often find consolation in
science and art.
